Todd Silance
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Todd is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Summit Capital. As Managing Partner, Todd leads Operations and oversees Asset Management, Investor Relations and Marketing.
Prior to Summit, Todd founded Silance Investment Group, a multi-faceted investment company with ownership in $7MM of single family, multifamily, and commercial properties, as well as multiple Anytime Fitness franchises. Todd is also a Limited Partner in over 400 multifamily apartment units nationwide.
Todd’s professional background includes 15 years working for Nationwide Insurance, one of the largest insurance and financial services companies in the world, where he was responsible for managing over $20MM in annual residential and commercial construction projects.
Scott Cheek
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Scott is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Summit Capital. As Managing Partner, Scott leads Strategy and Business Development including overseeing Acquisitions and Capital Markets.
Prior to Summit, Scott founded True North Properties where he acquired and repositioned over $1MM in multifamily real estate throughout his hometown of Chester County, PA.
Scott’s professional background includes over a decade of Medical Sales & Marketing leadership in the eye care industry. In 2018, Scott founded Vivid Medical, an independent sales agency specializing in capital equipment technology and responsible for over $2MM in annual revenue.

Ashley Wilson
Since starting her real estate investment career in 2008, Ashley has owned over 1000 units of multifamily across the U.S., has been involved in over $60MM in real estate acquisitions, and has managed over $10MM+ in construction. In addition to operating her own investments, Ashley has advised and consulted for many well-known owners in the Multifamily industry and is a sought after speaker on multifamily operations, inclusive of asset & construction management. Ashley is passionate about helping other investors learn to invest in apartments and authored The Only Woman In the Room: Knowledge and Inspiration From 20 Women Real Estate Investors, as well as many published articles.
J. Scott
J is co-owner of Bar Down Investments. He is an industry leader, having written five best-selling investment books and, in addition to his multifamily holdings through Bar Down, has personally bought and sold over $70MM in residential real estate since 2008. He is a sought-after speaker and mentor. After a prominent technology career, J still participates as a strategic advisor for several venture-backed companies in the real estate space.
